HIGHLIGHTS
GetBuzzin.mp4 is a creative media platform I launched during my final month of college to celebrate creativity, community, and the energy of everyday life. What began as a challenge to finally build a relationship with the Canon G7X camera I received for Christmas quickly evolved into a personal project centered around storytelling, music, and connection.
By impulse on a sunny day, I started bringing my camera everywhere I went. Documenting moments as they happened and improvising when opportunities sparked. As someone who enjoys remixing music, video editing, and creating digital content, GetBuzzin became a space where I could combine those interests while sharing experiences with friends and the people I met along the way. The "Buzzers"—a growing community of supporters, collaborators, and strangers turned friends has become an important part of this project's identity.
The platform was built during one of the busiest periods of my life. Between coursework, final exams, graduation celebrations, moving out of college, fixing my truck, creating artwork, and preparing for life after graduation, I found myself constantly creating. Rather than slowing down, the chaos fueled the project. GetBuzzin became a way to document that momentum and embrace the unpredictability of it all.
After graduating from Miami University, I brought GetBuzzin with me to Chicago, where I continue to grow the project. Looking ahead, I plan to expand the platform through photography, short-form video, music-driven edits, and visual storytelling that celebrate nightlife, daylife, local culture, and the people who make a city feel alive. More than a content account, GetBuzzin.mp4 is an ongoing exploration of creativity, curiosity, and community.
